Beautiful example of the photomontage poster accompanying this pseudo-annual avant garde festival founded by the cellist and performance artist Charlotte Moorman (1933-1991). The Festival, which ran fifteen times in eighteen years, featured the musical offerings of the Fluxus movement as well as kinetic and video art. Among the artists whose work was featured in 1973: Ay-o, the Gorilla Action Group, Video Free America, Jud Yalkut, Jackson Mac Low, Bernadette Mayer, Jim McWilliams, John Cage, Yoko Ono, and many, many others.
