Los Angeles: Institute of Modern Russian Culture / Charles Schlacks, Jr., 1995-2004. Ten octavo volumes (issued annually). Original printed card wrappers; variously paginated. Mild evidence of use; generally Near Fine or better. From the library of noted poet and translator Nathaniel Tarn, with his embossed stamp to title page of first issue. Texts primarily in English save v.5, which is entirely in Russian.

First ten issues of this ambitious annual publication dedicated to the Russian literary, artistic, and performance avant-garde. The journal is still being published (though apparently only in digital format) as of 2025 (now at no. 30). Each issue is built on a theme: no.1, for example, is sub-titled "Centrifuge: Memoirs, Letters, and Other Documents from the Era of Russian Modernism;" no.10 is sub-titled "Performing Arts and the Avant-Garde;" etc. No. 10 was issued with a CD-Rom of Illustrations, included here.
