The Orioles achieved great success with their early hits "It's Too Soon To Know" and "(It's Going to be a) Lonely Christmas," and their live shows were a phenomenon. The group's biggest hit would come soon after the release of this broadsheet, with "Crying in the Chapel" hitting #1 in the R&B charts in 1953. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 under the "Early Influences" category.
