Early 8" x 10" black-and-white photograph of Jimmy Carter sitting at a desk by Fabian Bachrach with their name stamped at the bottom margin. INSCRIBED and SIGNED in the upper left corner "To my good friend,/Graham Jackson/Jimmy Carter." Graham Washington Jackson, Sr. (1903-1983), an American theatre organist, pianist, accordionist, and choral conductor, was the subject of a famous LIFE magazine photograph taken at the departure of Franklin D. Roosevelt's funeral train. As Governor of Georgia Carter named Jackson the official state musician of Georgia.
