Universal City: Universal Pictures, 1937. Vintage publicity photograph of Herbert Mundin and Claudia Morgan from the 1937 film.

From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s.

William Lundigan stars as reporter who gets himself thrown in jail in the hopes of interviewing Bernadene Hayes, accused of killing her millionaire boyfriend. Upon discovering a beautiful girl in the next cell, he assumes she is Hayes, but is actually Claudia Morgan, another reporter who schemed their way into the jail to get the story.
