Early 19th. century. Near-fine. The occasional crease or tiny tear.. A group of four (4) remarkably intricate and finely-wrought examples of early nineteenth century paper cut work. They have been designed and cut by someone who was evidently quite skilled in the practice. Two of the examples depict trees with long branches waving dramatically in the wind; the other two have been shaped into intricate oval patterns, utilizing natural and floral imagery. Note the tiny birds perched on the trees. Each measures approx. 5" in height.
