Raised spine bands. All edges gilt. "L.D.S. Hymns" stamped in gilt on the spine. Black endpapers. Light rubbing to the extremities. Faint ink stamps and pencil notations on preliminary pages. Stitching visible in the inside margins of the preliminary and terminal leaves. Light moisture staining to edges of title page, first twenty pages or so, and pp. 478-480. Title page lightly chipped at the edges. A lovely copy in leather of the 24th edition of the LDS hymnal, first published in 1835 by Emma Smith, wife of LDS Church founder, Joseph Smith. 383 hymns contained in this edition. Flake 1785.
