Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Helen Walker made her film debut in the 1942 comedy "Lucky Jordan," starring Alan Ladd, and would go on to sign with Paramount. Her career fell into decline after her involvement in a highly publicized, deadly car accident in 1946, although she continued to act throughout the remainder of the 1940s and 1950s, most notably in "Call Northside 777" (1948) and "Nightmare Alley" (1947).
