CHRISTOPHER ISHERWOOD (1904-1986). Christopher Isherwood was an English and American novelist that was a pioneer for gay literature. He is best known for his novels Goodbye to Berlin and A Single Man, the first of which inspired the creation of Cabaret and the latter was adapted to a film in 2009 by Tom Ford.ALS. 1pg. Michael di Capua worked with Isherwood to publish the Christopher Isherwood Diaries in 1996. In this letter, Isherwood is in the early stages of writing this book and discusses sending his manuscript soon. The letter is in very good condition.
