First Edition/Stated First Printing; A Good only book in a Very Good price clipped dust jacket. A handsome copy of this novel, McCarthy's first published book; uncommon in the first printing. This copy is in good only condition with ex-library markings to the rear endpapers and top exterior text block, ink markings to the first few pages, tape residue to the boards and endpapers, a mild slant to the binding (else a sound binding with clean pages), and moderate rubbing to the board edges. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows some light rubbing and chipping to the edges and some minor fading to the spine lettering. Overall, a collectible copy; this copy presents well with the defects hidden behind the nice jacket; an opportunity to own a first printing of this scarce title at a much reduced price.
