The author Werner Rammert, is professor of sociology since 1999 at the TU Berlin, from 1991 at the FU Berlin. He received his degrees (Diss./Habil.) at the faculty of sociology at Bielefeld. He initiated and headed some educational and research programs, like Diplom/MA/BA Sociology, "Future of Work", "Cultural Shaping of Technologies", "Innovation Society Today", "Human-Centered-Communication" and "Socionics" (with computer scientists). He was fellow at the Northwestern, Vienna, and Stanford University. Along with Hans Linde , Bernward Joerges, and Karl H.
