1830. Original wraps. Very Good +. The complete, of-the-period transcript, and a detailed documenting of this February 1830 trial of Robert Emond for double-murder. He was convicted and --on the last page of text, no less-- was sentenced to die by hanging a month later, on March 17th. And his body "to be aftrerwards publicly dissected". (Clearly, justice was swift and exacting in early 19th century England). The transcript, in its later --though still early-- brown wrappers, consists of 32 pgs. of text, which has held up well. Octavo, crisp and bright, and easily VG to VG+, with very minor, occasional spotting. An uncommon case study of 1830 British criminal law and justice.
