New York: Hastings House, 1945. Second Printing of 1945. Fine in light gray cloth covered boards with dark blue text stampings and map end papers. A small octavo of 7 7/8 by 5 1/4 inches. In a very good, price clipped dust jacket with a 1/2 inch deep chip to the upper edge of the spine area and with light wear around the edges of the front panel and lower edge of the spine. One of the volumes in the American Guide Series. 595 pages including an index, chronology, eight sections of black and white photographs, and maps. This is one of the few WPA Guide series titles not called for to have a fold-out map at the rear.
