Loosely inserted: 2 folding posters: “La bandiera Vietcong” and “Le avventure di Phoebe Zeit-geist” di Michael O’Donoghue e Frank Springer. Lrg. tabloid folio. Self-wraps. Guppo 63, an avant-garde Italian literary movement of the 1960s, began publishing Quindici in June 1967. This issue includes texts by founding members Umberto Eco, Enrico Filippini, Elio Pagliarani, Michele Perriera and Gaetano Testa, Corrado Costa, Filiberto Menna, Alberto Arbasino, G.B. Zorzoli, Vittorio Strada, and Aldo Tagliaferri. Through the form of literary language, they challenged the values of contemporary society, especially consumerism. No. 8 was published during the Italian student protest movement in Jan.-June 1968, and clearly protests the American war in Vietnam, sending a message of strength to the Viertname general Giap.
