Some light sporadic toning to the book's endpapers. Dust jacket is lightly faded and shows a bit of wear around the edges and folds. A nice copy. Signed by the author on the half-title page in black ink. The front pastedown is stamped and hand-numbered thus: "This is #313 of a special printing of 500 hard cover books." A lovely collection of verse by Vaughn Short for friends around campfires, each with a bit of an explanation as to its origin. Of Vaughn Short, the folk singer, songwriter, and recording artist Katie Lee stated, "...[he is] the Poet Laureate of the one and only river, Colorado.
