Springfield, Ohio: Mast, Crowell & Kirkpatrick, 1893. Good. Incomplete, missing plates. Wear and tear to portfolio. Plates in nice shape, with the occasional spot, nick, or bit of dust soiling.. A partial set of color printed plates commemorating the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. This set, housed in the original publisher's portfolio, contains seven (7) prints of watercolors by the American artist Charles S. Graham, published and distributed by Mast, Crowell & Kirkpatrick of Springfield, Ohio. The titles of the prints include: "Along the Plaisance"; "Looking East in the Grand Court"; "Among the State Buildings"; "Old Liberty Bell"; "Old Vienna"; "Foreign Buildings Along the Shore"; and "The Gilded Entrance to Transportation Building". Each measures approx. 9" by 12". Portfolio measures approx. 12" by 9.25" and is made from blue paper pebbled to resemble leather backed in blue cloth. Early ink inscription to inside of upper board: "Grace E. Gates. East Pitney Vermont. Wed. June 12. 1895.
