National Refining Co. Illustrated Letterhead

Cleveland, Ohio: The National Refining Co, 1916. Very good. Light toning, a couple nicks, letter folds.. Typewritten letter on illustrated letterhead promoting the National Refining Co. of Cleveland. The illustration at the head is large and colorful, depicting a large red pickup truck carrying barrels of the company's various products (e.g. gasoline, transmission grease, light oil, valve oil). The letter addresses a customer with an outstanding balance, requesting settlement, and has been signed via an ink stamp. Includes a list of offices on the left-hand edge. Measures approx. 10.75" by 8.5", verso blank. Includes an interesting disclaimer printed at the foot: "All agreements are contingent upon strikes, accidents, fires and other causes unavoidable or beyond our control
