Promotional brochure, tipped into a folding wallet style manilla envelope, with a photo illustration of Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, and a printed return address for the park in the upper left corner, space to the right for an address and stamp. This copy unused. Single sheet, 62 x 47 cm., folded to 20 x 9 cm. A full color topographical birdseye view map of the Yellowstone Park, lithographed by Poole Bros. of Chicago, and copyrighted in 1895 by Chas. S. Fee occupies one side of the sheet; verso has 15 panels, comprised of 10 panels of text (3 of which have a photo illustration), 1 small map of the "Northern Pacific Railway and Connections," a 2-panel map of the Alaska coastline (showing Vancouver Island and the Hecate Strait), and one title panel. A very good, crisp copy. The aerial view topographical map of Yellowstone is rendered in striking detail. Rumsey 4118, dates the map from the copyright that is printed on it, 1895.
