Original full green vellum burnished to render translucent, with each cover emblazoned with delicious images of King Arthur and his Queen Guinevere. He is holding the Excalibur sword, and she has her hands placed on a book. The binding is made by Dorothy Carleton Smyth and signed by the Cedric Chivers bindery.
