Jacket lightly dust-soiled with sunning to spine and minor chips to spine ends with small loss at joint ends. Closed tear to front cover but no text loss. Verso toned. Board corners and spine ends nudged with minor shelfwear. Binding cocked but firm. Toning to pages as expected, with more to half-title. Brief pencil to note page, otherwise interior clean. A Very Good or better copy in like scarce jacket.

A collection of short stories, mostly early works, and the first part of Lawrence's last, and unfinished, novel, Mr. Noon.
