This first volume was titled "De Ceux A Qui L'On Succede et de Ceux Qui Succedent. The subject of this French work titled Traité des Successions is the law of inheritance and succession. It covers the legal rules surrounding inheritance, wills, and the distribution of a deceased person's estate. This lone volume is unfortunately not in good condition. Its leather binding is scuffed, rubbed, and worn, The spine has the remnants of a lovely design and a red leather title label. The hinges are split and the title page and the two pages following it are loose as are several other pages. Despite the condition the volume is readable and useful to those wanting a reading copy of this first volume from an important treatise.
