Historic exhibition catalog on Latin American art in the United States. The Riverside Museum in NYC hosted the Latin American Exhibition of Fine and Applied Art from June 2 to September 17, 1939. Sponsored by the U.S. New York World's Fair Commission, the exhibition featured over 330 works from countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, and others. The show included a wide range of paintings, sculptures, costumes, and photographs, with the goal of promoting cultural exchange and understanding between the U.S. and Latin America during the World's Fair.
