The first Canadian indie rock band signed to Seattle's flagship grunge label Sub Pop, Eric's Trip released their critically acclaimed debut album "Love Tara" in November of 1993. The album was ranked 39th in the 2007 book "The Top 100 Canadian Albums" by Bob Mersereau.
The band released two more albums, "Forever Again" (1994) and "Purple Blue" (1996), before disbanding in 1996. In 2001 the band reunited and played a series of shows between 2006 and 2009 including the 2007 Halifax Pop Explosion, the 2008 Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona, and the 20th anniversary concert for Sub Pop in 2008.
