An unusually clean, well-preserved copy of the 1929 1st edition, 2nd issue (with the "disclaimer" page present and lacking the letter 'A" on the copyright page). Both gold title-labels (one to the front panel, the other along the spine) are complete and very bright. They both show just a touch of minor scratching and creasing but present very well in their entirety. And internally, the book shows no writing or markings to speak of. The black boards as well are handsome and almost completely unmarred. A solidly VG+ to Near Fine copy. Lacking the original dustjacket.
