The Missouri Breaks (Original one sheet poster for the 1976 film)

By Arthur Penn (director); Thomas McGuane (screenwriter); Marlon Brando, Jack Nicholson, Randy Quaid (starring)
Beverly Hills, CA: United Artists, 1976. Vintage one sheet poster for the 1976 film.

Arthur Penn's absurdist revisionist Western, wherein Marlon Brando, in a largely improvised performance, portrays an eccentric Irish-American "regulator" who is hired to hunt down a gang of horse thieves led by Jack Nicholson. Largely derided at the time of its release, the film has since been re-evaluated as one of the more fascinating genre films of the 1970s.

Shot on location in Nevada City, Harrison, and Billings, Montana.

27 x 41 inches. Folded as issued. Very Good plus, with starting at the center folds.
