Kew Gardens NY: Screen Facts Press. Very Good+. 1965. (Vol. 2, No. 5; whole #11). Periodical. [very slight tears at spine ends, soft diagonal crease in front cover] (B&W photographs) Almost all of this 64-page magazine is devoted to a career article about actress Hedy Lamarr, by Gene Ringgold; the article quotes her liberally, although it's never stated explicitly that Ringgold was granted an interview. (It also makes no mention -- not a single word -- of her various scientific and technical achievements, that have received much attention in more recent times.) The last dozen or so pages of the issue are devoted to Part 1 of an article about director Ford Beebe, covering his early career (up to the mid-1920s), by Elaine and George Geltzer, "assisted by William K. Everson." .
