Boston: Bem Burk Inc, 1935. Decorative Boards. Very Good. The 1935 true 1st edition, in its familiar dark-red and black boards (colors shared, ironically, by New York's legendary "21 Club"). Solid and VG, with a touch of mild fraying at the spine crown and along the rear outer hinge. Very light toning as well to the front panel's gilt-titling and cameo of "Old Mr. Boston". Internally very sharp, with no writing or markings to speak of. 12mo, wonderful Art Deco-ish illustrations throughout, in their vibrabt colors, complementing the text. Alphabetized listings of seemingly every cocktail imaginable, rendering this a naughty, spirits-themed alphabet book, among other things. Uncommon in its original 1935 printing.
