By Edna St. Vincent Millay
New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1921. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. The 1921 true 1st edition of Edna St. Vincent Millay's 3rd book of poetry, published by Mitchell Kennerley (who also published her first book of poetry, "Renascence"), not Harper & Brothers (whose original publication of this title was in 1925, as per Yost's "A Bibliography of the Works of Edna St. Vincent Millay"). IN ITS ELUSIVE ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET. A solid, presentable copy. Clean and VG+ in its dark cloth, with bright gilt-titling along the front panel and spine, and no writing or markings to speak of internally. And in a bright, VG- to VG example of the fragile, light-blue dustjacket, with chipping (1" of loss) at the spine crown and very lightly so along the front panel's top-edge. Several small closed tears as well (one at the foot of the spine, one along the rear panel's upper flap-fold), darkening along the spine and mild spotting and rubbing to the rear panel. Still though, attractive and relatively well-preserved. A slim 12mo, 112 pgs.
