Each a first edition near fine in similar dustjackets. TAKE THREE and TAKE FOUR are PRESENTATION COPIES from photographer McDowall to MGM musical star Jane Powell who is one of the portraits photographed by McDowall in the book and her husband Dick Moore. TAKE THREE is INSCRIBED on the title page in red ink: "for my dears Jane and Dick with constant love R" then SIGNED in full by McDowall under his printed name. (The photograph of McDowall on the author bio on the rear dustjacket flap is by Bruce Weber. Who knew?). TAKE FOUR is INSCRIBED on the title page in red ink to MGM musical actress Jane Powell and her husband Dick Moore: "for my dear ones Jane and Dick - always love. Roddy" then SIGNED in full by McDowall under his printed name and dated 1993. (The photograph of McDowall on the author bio on the rear dustjacket flap is by Elizabeth Taylor.).
