Large monograph of Bonomi (b. 1935, italy of Brazilian mother, lived in Brazil since 1945) an engraver, scuptress, muralist and installation artist who lived and worked in the U.S. in 1957-1960. She along with Livio Abramo founded the "Estudio Gravura" in 1960 (Sao Paulo). Among the many works shown this monograph includes her work in the Banderiantes Palace, the seat of Government of the State of Sao Paulo, two massive panels where the saga of the people of the world is retold made from aluminum and brass; her mural on two large concrete blocks for the subway station of Sao Paulo, and her famous installation piece "Metemphychosis" of a multifude of maskless people, caught in a full act of life from recyucled materials.
