In it she explores the fascinating interest people have had about palm reading. She writes that the palmist stresses the importance of the marking and formation of the hands as indicative of character, and believes that in these the past and future may be read. She continues to say that the belief that man's destiny is imprinted on his hands has a long history. Prophets of the old testament beieved that God "set his seal" on men this way. Bound in an accordion structure with hand colored, collaged elements including palmistry diagrams on each page. Includes two pages of text, Nine illustrations, and colophon. Housed in a altered Altoid box that has been collaged with a map of London and other papers on both interior and exterior. The green cover of the box is titled in black on the affixed title label. on the front panel. The book and box both come in a handmade black felt carrying case with blue ribbon pull ties.
