A children's book written with the intention to increase a sense of awareness to the ecology of a place. Underlying philosophy of the book, coined "Irene y Marlene, Artesanas" and is represented by the character "Sito", made into hand-crafted dolls from natural materials found on the ground. The book explains this ecological and cultural movement that emphasizes the intersections and harmony between indigenous cultures and nature through folkart and story telling. Although intended for children, book has reahced adults in various countries in America and Europe. Book written to celebrate the movement's 10 year anniversary.
