El Archivero was an art gallery and bookstore established in 1984 in Mexico City by Yani Pecanins (Mexico 1957–2019), Gabriel Macotela (Guadalajara, Mexico, 1954) and Armando Saénz Carrillo (Mexico, 1955 - 2018). This is the catalogue of the exhibition “Un libro más para El Archivero “, the second international exhibition of artist's books that El Archivero organized. In the early 1990s artists from all over the world were invited to send one or more books to make up this exhibition: 95 publications from creators from 12 countries were received. Participating artists included: Ulises Carrión, Ben Aretz, Jordi Benito, Carolyn Berry, Jo Blatti, Linda Gammel, Sandra Menefee Taylor, Mark Bloch, Paulo Bruscky, Antonio Caro, Ted Cronin, Robin Crozier, Ann Chamberlain, El chalé de trapo, Cave Charles, Deidre Daw, Christo and others.
