Paris: Editions "Le Triangle, 1931. (2 small pinholes throughout, most not affecting or minimally affecting text; Light foxing to margins of covers; o/w v.g). b/w illus., 20 plates (1 colored), pict. wrps. Rare catalogue illustrated by Segall. (b. Lithuania 1891, immigrated to Brazil in 1923 - d. 1957) who is one of the best know Jewish artists of the Diaspora. This was his only exhibition in Paris for this gallery and included his work from 1920-1931. His work registered protest against the degradation of injustice and genocide. In Germany he developed his own style, which incorporated aspects of Cubism and was greatly influenced by expressionist art. Limited Edition of 130.
