Issued by Battledore Ltd. of Kingston, NY in a 1995 signed/limited edition of 250 copies, this being copy #22 signed by both MAURICE SENDAK and IAIN BAIN (who oversaw the publication). Consisting of 34 separate 16mo booklets, each in its handsewn, light-blue wrappers, each including its original tissue-guard and print. All housed in a lovely light-blue, printed box, with mounted Potter illustration of 4 rabbits at the front panel and immaculate gilt-titling along the dark-green spine label. A very handsome reproduction, beautifully designed and packaged.
