Boards worn and scuffed; cracked along joints but holding firm; remnants of bookplate to front pastedown; previous owner has written in pen "From the estate of Henry Bentivoglio Middleton" to preliminaries; overall a Very Good copy of the statesman and historian's works, including his history of relations between France and Flanders and the Flanders War.
