Well-preserved issue of John Bryan's ambitious San Francisco weekly underground paper, which appeared for only seven issues in early 1972. Each issue included a 2-page full-color section of comics and (save for the final two issues, which were abbreviated), and most with an insert containing editorial contributions and advertisements. The editorial board included such underground all-stars as John Wilcock, Chester Anderson, and Diane DiPrima; comic contributions by Willy Murphy, Gary Hallgren, Justin Green, and Bill Griffith, whose earliest "Zippy" strips appear here. This issue contains contributions by Bill Griffith, Willy Murphy, Gary Hallgren, Robin Morgan, and others. 88005.
