[San Francisco]: [Anti-election Vigil], 1971. Parody ballot, lightly edgeworn, 10x4 inches, with all three choices marked as the notoriously corrupt Nguyen Van Thieu. Distributed to demonstrators at an Anti-election vigil held at the South Vietnamese embassy on Market Street, Oct. 1-2, 1971. Satirical commentary includes the statement "Only by voting in this important election can we be sure of preserving democracy and freedom in South Vietnam." Reverse of the handbill argues that the vast majority of Vietnamese support the Provisional Revolutionary Government.
