Guatemala: Museo Paiz de Arte Contamporáneo, 1996. b/w and color plates, port., pict. wrps. Retrospective exhibit of noted artist/sculptor (b. 1922, Guatemala) active in the 1940's and forward. From his beginnings of indigenous themes he moved into revolutionary art ofthe 1940's. He lived in Chile for a period of time during the dictatorship in Guatemala and moved more toward modernism/sculpture. He returned to Guatemala in the mid-1950's.
