The theme of bienal is video, photographic, and digital/electronic art by twenty-four artists, many of whom live outside Venezuela. National juried bienal is limited to artists born or have lived in Venezuela and are no older that 35 years of age. Some participants: Ricardo Alcaide, Kike Arnal, Fran Beaufrand, Maria Bernández, Guillermo de Yavorsky, Mailen García, Andrés Manner, Juan Nascimiento, and many others. A unique themed bienal documents much of the best of 1990s art in Venezuela.
