Fair+ (ex-libris to front pastedown. scuffs, smudges & darkening to boards; dark stain to back; scattered foxing. lower spine bumped/bruised w/ protrusion. corners bumped, rubbed & curled. two deep cracks to textblock; some binding threads remain attached; textblock & pgs remain firm.). Gilt-embossed coarsely-woven tan cloth. 133 pp. with bw frontis and 34 full-page bw plates with tissue guards. Reading/rebinding/researcher copy only. Pages remain fairly bright, but will have instances of foxing, smudges and tanning. Pages rippled. Tissue guards oxidized and foxed. Most of the plates illustrate more than one piece.
