He graduated from Harvard and became a specialist in diseases of the eye and the ear. He eventually set up a practice in Maine and became a member of the Maine Medical Association where he gave several addresses. Originally part of Massachusetts, Maine became a state in 1820, and this book documents the physicians practicing in the new state of Maine at the time of the separation. 8vo.
