His plays, some of which were dramatized versions of his novels, were all produced with success on the London Stage." His books were often on the US best-selling lists, and many were adapted to film or stage. Idols tells the story of 4 innocent people whose lives were turned to turmoil by a murder committed by two robbers who were eventually captured and executed.
