OCASO DE LA BARRIADA: PROPUESTAS PARA LA VIVIENDA POPULAR

The author considers alternate solutions for popular housing in the marginal sectors of the city suburbs and in the downtown areas of Lima, Peru, condemning the lack of interest on the incapacity of the "Barriada" to obtain a sustainable development. He presents well based and serious proposals for architecture, planning for the inhabitants as well as with the policies applied during the government of president Alejandro Toledo and his ministers of Housing: Carlos Bruce and Rudecindo Vega.
