Worcester, MA: American Antiquarian Society, 1962. Softbound. VG. Greenish wraps. 31 pp., folding frontispiece. Printed in an edition of 500 copies to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the AAA. In the winter of 1960 the Society received from Mrs. Samuel Bennett a group of papers relating to Isaiah Thomas, the founder of the Society, which was celebrating the sesquicentennial on the 24th of October, 1962. As well as containing letters from Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin and John Hancock, the collection has the original indenture of Thomas to Zechariah Fowle, reproduced as the frontispiece of this work (fold-out) and three autobiographical fragments which make up the body of this book. (Deer Park Books). Quite nice.
