Sánchez (Colombian 1899-1979) with the intent to look at the beginnings of modernism during the first half of the 20th century in Colombia. Sánchez is interesting because in addition to his studio work he specialized in industrial photography registering monumental architecture, hydro-electric plants, and the opening of new highways and ways of communication. His work has a sensitivity and style that represents the modernity around him.
