Salt Lake City, UT, 1913. First edition. Hardcover. 360pp. Octavo [22.5 cm] Red cloth with gilt stamped titles. Good. The edges of the covers are lightly rubbed. The endsheets are cracked along the hinges. A piece of cardboard, measuring 16 cm x 6 cm, has been mounted to the bottom half of the rear pastedown, resulting in a corresponding dark patch on the rear free endsheet. There is also a numerical notation on the rear free endsheet. The title page is detached, but present. The pages are browned. Subjects include Leland Stanford, Darius Ogden Mills, W. C. Ralston, William Sharon and many more.
