By Cragin, Aaron H.
Washington DC: F. & J. Rives & Geo. A. Bailey, 1870. First edition. 23pp. Very thin octavo [24.5 cm] White and black printed wraps. Very good. The corners and edges of the pages are lightly bumped and chipped. Political situation in Utah. The author quotes John Hyde on p. 7 - "The Mormon polygamist has no home. Some have their wives lotted off by pairs in small disconnected houses, like a row of out-houses. Some have long low houses, and, taking a new wife, build a new room on to them, so that their rooms look like rows of stalls in a cow-barn!" Flake/Draper 2574.
