Small 4to, full calf, gilt title and decoration at spine, red speckled edges, [28], 568 pp. Leather rubbed with loss at corners, leather also coming loose near front and back edges,a couple of nicks at spine, endpapers no longer pasted down, some gatherings a bit loose, these with wear at front edge. Minimal dampstaining, a few pages with neat manuscript modifications to text, contents very good overall, leaves bright and crisp. Rituals of the Catholic Church appears to be a pretty rare volumne as OCLC/WorldCAT lists only three copies of this edition, two in the Bibliotheque National de France, and one at Bringham Young University. Attractively printed in red and black throughout, and includes woodcut initials and headpieces and music notation.
