After losing a close election, believed by some to be not a totally honest contest, to John F. Kennedy in 1960, he would win the presidency in the 1968 election. However, he would resign in August of 1974, facing impeachment for his role in the Watergate scandle.The current work is about the realities of the Cold War, and his views on how to deal with the Soviet Union.
